How to choose the internet connection mode for tenda router?

The three common Internet connection modes are as bellow:

Connection mode/type	Internet characteristics
ADSL dial-up(PPPOE)	1. Having internet account and password from your ISP 2. Internet requires a dial-up connection on the computer
DHCP(dynamic IP)	1.Haven’t get internet account and password from your ISP. 2.Connect modem to the computer will have internet immediately.
Static IP	Internet needs to manually fill in a fixed IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS that given by your ISP.

Attention: If you still can not know what connection mode your internet is, you can view the receipt of your cable company or call them for help.
