How to block others to access my network by MAC filter function for ADSL Router?

Q:How can we prevent others connect to my wireless network?

II. Login to the management page of the router:
1. Open a web browser (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and find the address bar, leaving it blank before typing in 192.168.1.1, and then press enter.
(Care: The address bar is in the most top of the web page after opening web browser).
2. Click on Advanced Settings in the following page.
3. You will see the following page.
4. Click Wireless à MAC Filter in the gray menu on the left. Then the page will display as below:
Note:
Disabled: Select it to disable MAC filter function.
Allow: only allows clients in the MAC address list to access your wireless network.
Deny: only prohibits clients in the MAC address list from accessing your wireless network.
Add: to add a MAC address, click the Add button.
To delete an added MAC address, first check the Remove box behind the MAC address in list and then click the Remove button.
III. Steps for getting to know a MAC address of a computer
You should know the MAC address of the computers which you want to limit to access the Internet. You can check them on the computers with command prompt. Click StartàRun. Type cmd and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /all at the prompt window, press Enter, it will show the MAC address and other address information of this computer.
Example 1:
If you only want the wireless client with MAC address of C8-3A-35-00-EC-E5 to access wireless network, we can follow the instructions below:
1. Choose Allow and click the Add button in the below screen.
2. Enter the MAC address C8-3A-35-00-EC-E5 in the text box like the picture as below. Click Apply/Save to save your settings.
3. Then you can check the settings in the page below, click Save.
After the settings, only the wireless client with MAC address of C8-3A-35-00-EC-E5 can access your wireless network.
A: Sometimes we want to limit wireless clients to access the wireless network; we can achieve this through MAC Filter.
