Tenda Shows Off 802.11ac Wireless Technology

Taipei, Taiwan, June 9, 2012---The global renowned designer, manufacturer and marketer of advanced networking and broadband devices just rounded off a fruitful show from Computex 2012 held at TWCC in Taipei City from June 5-9, 2012.

At this show, Tenda introduced the next generation of WiFi: 802.11 ac, Gigabit Wireless, which attracts lots of visitors. Powered by Broadcom, the 11ac gigabit wireless technology will take your home network to a whole new level. AC Wi-Fi means no more buffering movies, no more stuttering video. Now everyone can watch their own full HD movies and play the most advanced online games—all at the same time, all over the house.

Although we just only had a demonstration unit and prototypes available at this moment, our CTO Mr. Quan said that Tenda would ship 802.11ac routers to the market sometime in the fall. What’s more, Mr. Quan and Broadcom officer agreed to make a Product Launch Conference by that time during the meeting at Computex.

Also during this event, we showcased our new product line Powerline, which transforms your home power lines into a high speed networking for streaming movies and online gaming without laying complicated wirings. Featured products include P200, the world’s smallest powerline adapter that delivers 200Mbps data rate but consumes even lower than 0.5W; PW201A, compact Powerline wireless extender that delivers up to 300Mbps wireless data rate.

With more than a decade in networking industry, Tenda well knows that innovation provides the best way to meet customers’ needs and win the market. And that’s part of the reason it’s striving to bring more innovative products to enrich people’s digital life and networking experiences.
